Biography - Meet Ed Gongola

Ed Gongola entered the real estate profession in 1977 in his hometown of Wheeling, West Virginia. He moved to Ft. Myers, Florida in 1986 to begin his real estate career in Florida. Ed sold properties on site at The Forest Sales Office in Ft. Myers from 1986 to 1991. When Bonita Bay opened their Central Sales Office in 1991, Ed was one of the original agents hired to sell new properties on site for the community. After several successful years, Ed decided to enter the general real estate market and joined John R. Wood, Realtors in 1998. He is now licensed with Downing-Frye, another well known local firm, with more transactions and volume then any other real estate company in the area. Ed will continue to specialize in the Bonita Bay Group Communities and other luxury properties throughout Southwest Florida.

Biography - Meet Walt & Kathleen DeGroft

Bringing another 50+ years of real estate experience to the Gongola Team, Kathleen teams with husband Walt to achieve client and customer satisfaction in their real estate endeavors. Both have excellent negotiating skills and in determining real estate values in a difficult real estate market. Working together they have sold properties in the golfing communities of Shadow Wood, Bonita Bay, Spring Run, and Wildcat Run. They have been residents of Shadow Wood since 2001.

Walt holds the real estate designations of GRI and CCIM recognizing professionalism, honesty, and quality service in the real estate industry.
